Schneider Electric, the global energy management specialist, has strengthened its automation and control sales team with the appointment of Richard Beighton as national commercial manager industry.
Beighton is an automation and control expert, having spent almost 30 years with a number of the sector’s leading players. His background includes a decade at Schneider Electric in a variety of roles, therefore bringing invaluable experience at senior commercial level, coupled with a sound knowledge of the company’s innovative technologies and solutions. Prior to Schneider Electric, his roles have included design engineer and sales positions with the some of the industry’s biggest names.
Commenting on his appointment, Richard said: “As national commercial manager, I will be responsible for reinforcing the sales team and increasing the services we offer, as well as informing the industry of those we already have. It is crucial that we continue to concentrate focus on the sales and drives team to keep ahead of the game and to ensure our world-leading products are visible within the marketplace.
