02/03/2010 - Drangeid appointed EVP, corporate communications

1 March 2010 - Aker Solutions has appointed Geir Arne Drangeid to the post of executive vice president (EVP) in corporate communications. Drangeid takes over from Jannik Lindbæk jr, who has been appointed vice president in Statoil ASA, with responsibility for media relations in corporate communications.

Drangeid has worked with communications in Aker for 20 years. From 1996- 2004 he led the communications functions in companies that today are part of Aker Solutions. Since 2004 he has held a similar role in the industrial investment company Aker ASA which, through its ownership in Aker Holding, is the main shareholder in Aker Solutions.

Drangeid takes up his new role with immediate effect.
