Meggitt Sensing Systems Announces Worldwide Endevco® Cable Delivery Improvement Initiative

October 27, 2011 – San Juan Capistrano, California, USA - Meggitt Sensing Systems, a Meggitt group division, has announced the expansion of its Guaranteed InStock™ program to include a major Endevco® cable assembly delivery improvement initiative.
As part of the new program offerings, Meggitt customers can choose from among 18 unique cable product families, in either standard or custom lengths, in typical ordering quantities, for worldwide shipment within one week or less. Cable families included under this program represent some of Meggitt’s most popular offerings, including:
* The Endevco® model 3090C-XXX (XXX denotes length in inches) premium, noise-treated (low noise) softline cable assembly, offering reliable operation from -254°C (-423°F) to +260°C (+500°F). The model 3090C is designed for compatibility with both high- and low-impedance piezoelectric accelerometers, in support of general purpose aerospace, automotive, industrial and test and measurement applications.
* The Endevco® model 6917B-XXXEndevco® model 3075M6-XXX hardline cable assembly, offering high-reliability performance to +482°C (+900°F) in support of high-temperature aerospace, automotive, industrial, power generation and test & measurement requirements.
* The Endevco® model 6917B-XXX Teflon jacketed cable assembly, designed to mate with differential output accelerometers with two-pin 7/16-27 UNS-2A threaded receptacle, typically used in turbofan environments up to +260°C (+500°F). It features a specially designed plug assembly with high force contacts and aluminum inserts for high-temperature operation, with a removable backshell for field replacement.
Meggitt designs and manufactures all of its own cables and connectors for optimal performance in extreme environments. In-house expertise extends to both standard and custom designs, including low-noise, high-temperature and multi-conductor models. All cables and connectors are subjected to rigorous quality assurance testing, ensuring their reliability within the intended application environment.
