New Dormer catalogue previewed at MACH 2012
2 April 2012
Delegates at MACH 2012 will gain a sneak preview of the new Dormer Tools catalogue.
The eagerly awaited publication has been designed with “user friendliness” in mind. As such, it will help customers to quickly choose the optimum cutting tool from their comprehensive range.
Featuring more than 380 products in solid carbide and high speed steel, the 480-page catalogue provides easy to use sections, as well as detailed technical information.
Around 70,000 copies of the catalogue will be produced, with a strong emphasis on simplifying the tool selection process. One way Dormer has done this is by grouping products with similar dimensions but different property combinations.
This includes left and right handed, different surface treatments and alternative shank styles. This development also ensures the reader can make an informed decision based on all the available options.
Included within the catalogue is Dormer’s drilling, reaming, threading and milling ranges, such as their high-performance, multi-material MP-X drilling range, which will be showcased at MACH (April 16-20).
Digital “flipping book” versions will be available at the Dormer stand (Stand 5579, Hall 5), while delegates will also have the opportunity to pre-register for a copy of the catalogue, which will be officially available from May 1.
Simon Winstanley, marketing coordinator at Dormer Tools, said: “The Dormer catalogue is an essential guide for tooling professionals all over the world. Each edition includes improvements on the last, based on the feedback we gain from customers.
“We therefore believe this publication is the most comprehensive and easy to understand in the company’s history. It will be a popular attraction for people attending MACH this year.”
