HBM’s latest T40FM digital torque flange can measure both torque and speed even in the most challenging operational conditions.
The torque flange includes an integrated magnetic speed measurement system generating 1,024 pulses per revolution to enable very accurate speed measurements even at low speeds. The magnetic system is insensitive to contamination, such as dust or oil mist, that may be present in test bench environments or on industrial applications.
External interferences that might contaminate measurements are effectively excluded because the measurement value data transmission from the rotor to stator is digital.
The T40FM is available with nominal torque ranges between 15 kN and 80 kN while care has been taken to ensure the design has a flat profile to facilitate integration into any industrial application. The rugged torque flange has a wide range of applications including, for example, test benches for motors or gears.
