CDR Pumps deliver ATEX Tanker Unloading pump SAME DAY

CDR Pumps have once again proved their reliability and ability to meet customers demands by delivering a fully ATEX compliant pump and motor set to one of their customer site on a SAME DAY basis. The client uses a number of CDR UTS type magnetic drive pumps for hot processing of chemicals (up to 300'C) and we received an urgent call advising that site had suffered a premature failure of a canned motor pump used for unloading Phenol which is a core prodcut for the production on site. The next tanker was due on site for a delivery that very next day and if it could not be unloaded, then production of the whjole site would stop.
CDR Engineers reviewed the system with the site Engineers first thing in the morning, the specification determined, Impeller trim finalised, and the pump was delivered on site at 1am that very same day with an ATEX Zone 1 electric motor attached ready for service - the pump successfully unloading the tanker that next morning and keeping the plant operational.
