Leading electrical wholesaler, Newey & Eyre is all set to let the celebrations commence as its ever popular Newlec brand reaches its all-important thirtieth birthday.
Launched back in 1982, Newlec was conceived to offer the nation’s electricians a value for money electrical range while retaining Newey & Eyre’s inherent ethos for performance and quality. At a time when the concept of ‘own label’ was relatively unheard of, the brand constituted the first of its kind for the industry.
Newlec has consistently grown from strength to strength, starting with a core line in hand dryers, to a brand that now covers a vast array of products in lighting and cable management through to fire and security products and hand tools.
