Electro Rent Europe expands its stock of Agilent and Tektronix high end oscilloscopes to meet the demands of customers testing at higher data rates

Electro Rent Europe has responded to its customers’ needs for high performance test equipment by increasing its inventory of 33GHz oscilloscopes, allowing near immediate delivery for rental or lease. Electro Rent holds the very latest generation of Agilent Technologies and Tektronix ultra-performance oscilloscopes including Agilent Infiniium 90000 X-series and the Tektronix DPO/DSA70000D series instruments.
With serial data rates predicted to exceed 10Gbps and communications standards reaching 100Gbps companies need increased bandwidth in their test equipment in order to perform effective signal integrity, jitter and timing analysis for design verification and certification. Testing at these data rates require oscilloscopes with 30+GHz of bandwidth. Oscilloscopes that operate at these levels of performance are high cost and can be difficult to justify especially when they may be required for a short period only.
As the world’s largest test equipment company, Electro Rent has the resources available to invest in these high cost items and to hold them as inventory so that its customers can get the equipment they need when they need it.
Electro Rent can provide high bandwidth oscilloscopes on a rental, lease or rent-purchase* basis. By special arrangement units can be demonstrated on the customer’s site and left with them for a trial period before the finance agreement commences. This allows them to gain familiarity with the instrument and be sure that it meets their high performance needs before committing to the agreement.

Electro Rent Europe’s inventory of ultra-performance oscilloscopes includes the Agilent Technologies DSAX92004A 20GHz, DSAX92504A 25GHz and the DSAX93204A 32GHz 4 channel oscilloscopes. Tektronix oscilloscopes held as inventory include the DPO72004B 20GHz oscilloscope, the DSA72504D 25GHz and the DSA73304D 33GHz digital serial analyser. All of these are available from stock for delivery throughout Europe.

In the current financial climate, companies are looking increasingly for alternatives to equipment purchase in order to minimise capital in favour of operational expenditure. Rental and financing services offered by Electro Rent Europe such as rent-purchase give customers the flexibility to use their opex budgets to acquire and ultimately own their test equipment resources.
With ‘rent-purchase’, Electro Rent Europe buys the equipment on behalf of the customer, new, directly from the manufacturer, and supplies it on a finance basis. At any time during the agreement the customer can opt to purchase the equipment outright with all of the finance payments made by this time counting towards the purchase price. Customers can acquire the equipment they need immediately without having to wait for capital equipment budgets to be approved.
