Upgraded flow monitors and excess flow valves from Boiswood

A range of redesigned flow monitors and excess flow valves for ultra high purity applications has been introduced by Boiswood. Manufactured by ChemTec, the fittings are suitable for applications in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, analytical, processing, biotechnology and alternative energy industries.

ChemTec have modified their best-selling LPH Series flow monitors to create the LPH-B-844 series for use on ultra high purity gas processing and distribution lines. With 1/2" VCR male nut and gland ports for easy threading, removal, installation and leak-tight operation, the compact monitors are electro-polished to a 10 Ra finish for high resistance to corrosion.

Three flow ranges are available for various flow set points. The monitors are CE, cUL and UL certified.

For installation on hydrogen gas supply lines such as in the semiconductor industry, the EFV-500-S MRS (B-918) is an ultra high purity excess flow valve with a 10 Ra surface finish. A reed switch contact is incorporated for valve positioning.

The valve complies with ATEX and CE marking directives. A variety of custom options are available to meet specific customer requirements, including a welded VCR fitting for ease of installation and removal.
