SEWTEC LAUNCHES FLEXIBLE PALLETISER

Sewtec has launched a servo robotic palletiser to complete its portfolio of end of line equipment that provides tailored automated solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, confectionery and personal care industries. The new Sewtec Palletiser complements the company’s existing range of end of line equipment, including advanced case packers, case closers and robotic handling systems, to enable the company to provide complete turnkey solutions.
The Palletiser has been designed to offer maximum flexibility, with a small overall footprint, dual loading system and special pallet configuration software. Combined with Sewtec’s ability to design bespoke tooling heads, the machine can be adapted to meet precise customer and product specifications. In addition to Sewtec’s renowned build quality and reliability, the Palletiser features a hygienic construction with all moving parts enclosed to provide protection against dust.
The compact design of the Palletiser means it can fit into the smallest of factory spaces. Its dual loading system enables two pallets to be loaded in quick succession or allows two pallets to be fed separately and loaded simultaneously.
The easy-to-use Integrated Pallet Configuration Software helps to create optimised pallet loads. Information on the size and weight of each box is inputted and the software creates the most appropriate pallet pattern and stacking format. A manual override enables adjustments to be made and pallet patterns to be fine tuned, with the final layout saved in the system and repeated over subsequent layers.
All functions and operations are carried out via an easy-to-use intuitive touch screen. Options available include a case tipper and bar code reader to check and verify the cartons being placed on the pallet.
