22/04/2014 - Emerson wins contract to replace aging turbine controls at one of the largest combined-cycle power plants in the U.S.
Union Power Partners, a subsidiary of Entegra Power Group, has awarded Emerson Process Management a contract to replace turbine controls at Union Power Station. The plant, located in southern Arkansas, is one of the largest combined-cycle facilities in the U.
Heat sealing specialist Proseal has taken part in a five day trade mission, led by Trade Minister Lord Livingston, to help boost trade with Central and Eastern Europe.

Proseal’s participation follows Lord Livingston’s visit to open the company’s third factory at its European headquarters in Adlington, Cheshire, in February.

16/04/2014 - Samson Controls Provides Precise, Fast Response when Controlling Large Valves.
Where process control systems require larger valves it can sometimes be difficult to achieve the required levels of accuracy combined with fast positioning. Larger valves, for example where flow rates require valve sizes of 200mm and above enabling flows in excess of 200 m3/h, tend to be fitted with pneumatic actuators which provide significant positioning forces.
