Kennametal recognized with Arval Prevention & Safety Award

Arval, a lease car provider, honored Kennametal Europe for its 100% Safe practices including the use of Management Based Safety (MBS) to drive high safety standards, behaviors and awareness across the company when it comes to driving safely. During the ceremony, Kennametal France presented the enterprise-wide Kennametal MBS system and various safety initiatives such as Monthly Safety Tips, check-list for drivers, safety equipment Kennametal provides to its sales representatives who are on the road, trainings on road safety, eco driving trainings, fire extinction, first aid, as well as other global safety practices. Kennametal has more than 500 cars with Arval in EMEA, using them in Germany, France, UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Turkey & Russia. The Kennametal purchasing team France accepted the award on behalf of Kennametal EMEA in front of more than 200 people from various industry-leading companies.
Mr Bismut, Arval's CEO, commented: "Besides all the other safety tools I personally feel especially impressed by Kennametal's annual safety calendar drawing competition for staff members' children.
