3M TO SHOWCASE 'TOTAL SAFETY SOLUTION' AT SANDOWN PARK

Diversified technology company 3M will be offering visitors to the Health & Safety event at Sandown Park on 28-29 February 2012 a 'behind the scenes' look at the different areas of its 'safety solutions' service.From advice and guidance on personal protective equipment (PPE) specification, to collaboration in selection and use of the most appropriate equipment and support in training and knowledge-sharing, 3M prides itself on providing much more than a broad product portfolio.
The stand (16) will be split into key support areas where visitors can speak with a 3M advisor about their specific needs and find out more about the range of service tools that are available, from product selectors and training programs, to interactive webinars, seminars and technical bulletins.
Alan McArthur and Jennifer Raymond of the 3M Safety Solutions Division will also be delivering seminars at the event on 'Are you fit enough? A guide to fit testing' at 10.20am on Tuesday 28 and 'Keep your kit on - How to improve PPE compliance' at 13.05pm on Wednesday 29 February.
Alan explains: "These seminars will provide invaluable information and guidance on key industry issues like the importance of fit testing and PPE compliance. In harmony with our approach to our stand this year, these seminars delve deeper than simple product selection and provide thought provoking points to be considered."
Visitors to the stand can get up close and personal with specially selected products from 3M's diverse range of PPE, including the latest in disposable respirator technology with the 3M Aura 9300+ Disposable Respirators. A limited number of product samples will be available at the event.
3M will also be offering four visitors the chance to win a free place on a fit testing training workshop at the 3M Head Office in Bracknell. This workshop is a day designed to prepare experienced fit testers to take the Fit2Fit Accreditation assessment. For further details please come and talk to a 3M representative on stand 16.
