A complete drive and power quality solution: A new partnership for CP Automation and SineTamer® in Croatia
04/02/2026 CP Automation Ltd
To help improve the performance of electric drives and better support industrial customers in Croatia, power quality specialist CP Automation and SineTamer® have partnered with Automatika i procesi (AiP). The company is already a partner of companies including Danfoss Drives A/S, Sinexcel and Comsys, and by adding the full SineTamer® range to its portfolio, it can address power quality issues including transients and supraharmonics.
Based in Zagreb, Croatia, AiP has 15 years of experience in the drives market. Its team of electrical engineers has extensive knowledge in products including frequency converters, power modules, active compensation systems for reactive power and harmonic distortion and process equipment. It currently supplies many of these to customers.
AiP will now also offer SineTamer’s® transient frequency attenuation devices (TFAD). These use special frequency attenuation circuitry rather than voltage actuation, meaning they can actively track and follow the sine wave form, protecting all 360 degrees.
SineTamer® can also address supraharmonics waveform distortions in the frequency range 2-150 kHz, which are often undetectable by conventional devices.
“Variable speed drives and similar devices are vital for Croatian industry, but the high voltages and currents involved can introduce risks,” explains Milan Stani?, director at Automatika i procesi. “Working with CP Automation and SineTamer® made sense because we could benefit from their extensive knowledge of the power quality market while being able to access the right technology.
“As Croatia embraces decentralised power sources, noise mitigation will be essential,” added Stani?. “This partnership came at the right time, and we're looking forward to working together.“
“Milan’s team is extremely experienced and knowledgeable about the power electronics market and is now a highly-trusted partner for Croatian industry,” added John Mitchell, global sales and marketing director at CP Automation. “They’re more than a supplier. They know the job isn’t finished once the device is installed and that ongoing monitoring may be needed. SineTamer® will be a great addition to their already-extensive offering.”
“Having a new partner in Croatia is really important to us, and we’re looking forward to working with Milan and the team at AiP,” added Jeff Edwards, CEO and founder of SineTamer®. “The company already provides active compensation systems, so it is well-versed in harmonic distortion. The SineTamer® range will only complement this, helping AiP address a wider range of power quality issues in industrial facilities.”
SineTamer® is a unique device that’s designed to protect variable frequency AC/DC drives and other sensitive electronic equipment. To find out how it can minimise disturbances and downtime in your facility, visit the CP Automation website or speak to a member of its power quality team.
