Whites Concrete has completed its 15th installation for a specialist UK AD business, supplying division walls for digester tanks, which has saved its customer time, money and space, compared to having two separate tanks.This latest installation in Northamptonshire also saw Whites Concrete provide tank lids for the main digester, whilst at other sites, internal mechanisms and weir panels have been designed, manufactured and supplied.
Part of an increasing order book to the AD market has also seen Whites Concrete's pre-cast panels used to maximise silage storage. This recently included a new silage clamp at Sherburn in Elmet, constructed in 3 compartments with a capacity of 4500 tonnes. Whites Concrete were called upon to create a design that would use the space to full effect, keeping silage dry and clean whilst ensuring that load demands would meet the bulk density.
