ADLINK launches two new robot controllers Live demonstrations at Robotics and Automation 21
03/11/2021 ADLINK Technology (China) Co. Ltd
ADLINK Technology Inc., a global leader in edge computing, will showcase milestone developments in its robotics, edge AI and autonomous solutions at the Robotics and Automation 21 event in the UK.
ADLINK highlights on Stand 322 will include:
- Two new additions to the ROSCube product family:
- ROSCube PICO NPN; supporting NVIDIA Jetson Nano and NVIDIA Xavier NX with support for ROS/ROS2 and NVIDIA Jetpack.
- ROSCube PICO TGL; based on 11th Gen Intel®Core™ processor and bundled with the Intel® distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit. NeuronBot; the rapid robotic development and demo kit based on ROS/ROS 2. The NeuronBot is an affordable, miniature, autonomous robot development platform with integrated computational unit; LIDAR sensor; high payload capacity and dynamic motion capability. It is designed to enable a wide range of research, training and educational activities.
- Kudan Demo; as a valued ADLINK partner, Kudan’s AMR prototype will feature on the stand to showcase the collaboration benefits of Kudan Visual SLAM together with ADLINK’s ROScube PICO TGL. This showcases an easy integration of Kudan SLAM and ADLINK’s ROScube even for commercial AMRs. The new PICO solution combined with Intel technology delivers high-performance AI inference for edge computing applications on Intel’s latest power efficient processors with Deep Learning Boost.
- NEON Smart Camera with Data Spree AI Platform for object detection. Any product can be detected, classified and, for example; packed, unpacked, sorted and deposited by robots - without writing a single line of code. AI-based image processing can also categorize, count or check items for damage on the conveyor before storage or leaving the warehouse. The result is faster, more efficient and very accurate warehouse and logistics processes.
- A range of new platforms based on the latest technologies with Intel, NVIDIA, Arm, NXP and AMD; and the company’s industry standard building blocks.
- Over on Stand 108, Cogniteam will demonstrate its new Nimbus cloud-based platform on ADLINK’s ROScube PICO NPN. Nimbus is designed specifically to support the development, management and control of swarm autonomy robotic fleets. It enables fast to market solutions and promotes continuity with regular updates and upgrades.
“Demand for AI, Autonomy and more intelligent edge solutions - such as industry 4.0 and Robotics - has rapidly increased,” commented Mark Turner, UK Sales Director, at ADLINK Technology. “More and more processing and determinism is required and achieved at the edge, or closer to the process itself, to enable faster decision making, improved process efficiency and adaptability. ADLINK is a key contributor to the eco systems surrounding these developments and we look forward to sharing our expertise with visitors to the Robotics and Automation show.”
