Advancing in service and sales: Foil container manufacturer continues impressive worldwide growth

Leading international foil container manufacturer, Advanta, has continued to develop its worldwide growth, supported by a focus on customer service and sales through the addition of new staff across the business. With an already excellent reputation for its customer satisfaction, the developments reinforce the organisation's focus on providing customers with quality and reliable products and services across the globe.

Advanta is the flagship Nicholl Food Group company, which was established in 1989. The business manufacturers foil containers for the food manufacturing and service industry worldwide. Continuing to develop its focus on service and sales for its international customers, Advanta has hired a series of customer facing staff.

Joining Advanta as head of sales, Anthony Debus has over 25 years' experience in the plastics packaging industry. Debus brings a wealth of knowledge from the packaging sector and will lead a team of dedicated sales and customer service staff to develop the organisation.

Alongside Debus, Andrew Wilkinson has joined the Advanta sales team as senior sales manager, covering Scotland, Ireland and the north of England, while Sonya Kumar has been appointed as customer service leader, to manage the newly developed Advanta customer service team.

"The restructuring we've undertaken across the Advanta team will stand us in excellent stead not only for our future, but our customer's future too," Jerry Ren, chairman of the Nicholl Food Group, said. "The experience these new appointments bring allow us to re-establish our focus on providing customers with the products they need and the service they expect from Advanta as we continue to develop and serve our customers."

However, the changes don't just span the staff employed by the company. New machinery and fleet vehicles have also widened Advanta's global capabilities.

"Our third financial year of continuous operating profit of circa one million pounds, as well as being set for a fourth this financial year, has allowed us to invest in both our staff and our infrastructure," John Threlfall, group finance director at Advanta said. "We have invested in new tooling across our manufacturing facility as well as adding two new trucks to our vehicle fleet. This means we can improve our customer's experience and our ability to respond to an ever changing global marketplace."

"Our overseas market is hugely successful," Miguel Campos (pictured), export sales manager at Advanta commented. "It has played a crucial role in our growth, with overseas sales quadrupling since 2014. Advanta has been growing by double digits year after year and the new additions to our team, manufacturing facility and fleet are just the start of what we are capable of."
