Air Power East Ltd becomes an Atlas Copco Compressors Premier Distributor

Air Power East, based near Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk, is celebrating its appointment as a Premier Distributor for Atlas Copco Compressors in East Anglia. According to company spokesperson Anne Wright the appointment will "Help in our ambitions to grow the business by allowing us to support new and existing customers even further."Air Power East has distributed Atlas Copco products for eight years. The company has access to Atlas Copco's Industrial Air compressor range, which includes both fixed speed and VSD oil-injected compressors up to 90kW and Class Zero rated oil-free compressors up to 55kW-VSD, piston, rotary tooth and scroll compressors, as well as quality air accessories. They will now begin to sell blowers and take advantage of the superb ZS range of oil-free, energy- saving positive displacement screw blowers. This increased product selection will allow the company to get further involved with more sophisticated projects and increase revenues.
Being appointed an Atlas Copco Compressors Premier Distributor has a number of significant advantages. The first major advantage is the increased marketing support which it can now expect. Atlas Copco Compressors carries out numerous marketing initiatives in support of its distributors and increased access to tele-marketing, direct marketing, PR support and matched funding initiatives are all now available to further drive the business forward.
Secondly, and supporting one of Air Power East's original decisions to work with Atlas Copco Compressors, is the increased access to technical support and training. Air Power East considers Atlas Copco to be the leading manufacturer in this field. Air Power East is an active member of the British Compressed Air Society. It is also a member of the BCAS Distributor Forum aiming to drive up standards of distributor training and competency across the distributor membership.
A well-established business with an experienced, stable, workforce, Air Power East has a wide customer base from small garages to large spray shops in the automotive trade to the construction industry, engineering industry and the food sector.
