Altra ECB brings bespoke clutches and brakes to Hannover Fair 2014

As a leading global supplier of power transmission solutions, Altra Industrial Motion, brings a large number of engineering experts and power transmission products to a wide range of industrial applications. This year its Electro-Mechanical Clutches and Brakes (ECB) division is focussing on "Integrated Industry - NEXT STEPS". It aims to educate its customers on the steps it's taking to maximise its manufacturing flexibility and how its products can be integrated with the other Altra brands to form an integrated power transmission package.Comprising Warner Electric and Matrix International, together these brands form the largest manufacturer of industrial clutches and brakes in the world. Specializing in customized solutions to meet the specific performance and installation requirements of each market, the ECB platform designs and manufactures bespoke solutions for modern industrial applications.
This platform encompasses designers and engineers that possess not only the technical expertise but also the language skills to communicate with customers directly, and understand the exact requirements of the client. Applications such as elevators, forklifts, crane hoists, textile machinery, postal sorting equipment; all of these examples require individual attention to ensure that the most suitable and reliable equipment is installed.
