Altra Industrial Motion brings selection of leading brands to SPS Italia

A number of leading brands from Altra Industrial Motion Corporation will be present at this year's SPS Italia, showcasing a wide range of premium power transmission and motion control solutions. Bauer Gear Motor, Huco Dynatork, Matrix International plus Warner Electric and Warner Linear will all be exhibiting at the show, which takes place from May 23rd - May 25th at the Fiere di Parma, Italy. Visitors will be able to find Altra in Pavilion 3, Stand G074.SPS Italia is a growing exhibition with a focus on automation, systems and components and the goal of gathering industry leaders to highlight the latest innovations to market. Altra sees the show as the perfect opportunity to showcase its comprehensive and innovative product offering, which it expects will generate significant interest for visitors.
Bauer Gear Motor will display a wide range of geared motor solutions for multiple application requirements. For operations in potentially explosive environments such as in the waste water industry, Bauer will show its range of ATEX rated motors and the new, highly efficient EX rated IE4 PMSM drive. In addition, the compact and efficient aseptic and stainless steel HiFlex Drive range, which has recently been expanded with a new model that incorporates a BK04 gearbox that can operate to 80 Nm, will be on the stand. Furthermore, the new EtaK 2.0 de-central inverter will be available for viewing, offered as a helical, shaft mounted bevel or worm geared device with a mounted variable speed drive.
Motor and coupling solutions will be at the forefront of Huco Dynatork's stand at the event. The Dynatork 3 air motor will be available for viewing; a drive that offers low cost, efficient and reliable performance for applications in sensitive environments. ATEX Zone 1 rated, and incorporating Huco's free-floating piston technology, the motor provides efficient spark-free operation for demanding applications. In addition, Huco will be highlighting its flexible coupling range via a see through display on stand.
Matrix International will focus on standard and customised servo motor 1EB brakes. These spring-applied, electrically released brakes offer low backlash and torque ratings from 0.1 to 500 Nm. The design offers high torque in increased ambient temperatures in a compact package, offering increased performance in smaller spaces. 1EB series brakes operate with reduced noise and can be externally mounted, simplifying maintenance and allowing easy retrofitting.
Warner Electric and Warner Linear will be present with a selection of specialised brake products and actuators for various industry applications. Of interest to visitors will be the X-Small brake, the smallest spring-set holding brake currently on the market. The device is designed for applications where every gram or centimetre counts, but can offer the same performance of a similarly sized permanent magnet solution. This will be joined by the B-Track Linear Actuator range, which is designed to withstand rugged duty. All members of the B-Track family offer a low maintenance solution on a compact footprint, with a high resistance to corrosion and wash-downs complementing this capability. To further display a commitment to providing incredibly low maintenance solutions for demanding applications, Warner will also demonstrate its IP69K rated actuator and brake variants, which offer exceptional ingress protection.
SPS Italia takes place from May 23rd - May 25th at the Fiere di Parma, Parma, Italy. Altra will be exhibiting in Pavilion 3, Stand G074.
