Andreas Ostermann von Roth Joins Aventics Executive Management

Master of business and engineering is the new COO of the pneumatics specialist.

Andreas Ostermann von Roth joined Aventics' executive board as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on January 1, 2018, succeeding Dr. Thomas Brückner, who retired in mid-2017.

Laatzen (Germany), January 16, 2018 - Aventics has completed its executive board by appointing Andreas Ostermann von Roth. As Chief Operating Officer (COO), the master of business and engineering will join Paul Cleaver, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Marcus Mayer, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), in leading the company. In his new role, Ostermann von Roth will be in charge of the Aventics plants in Laatzen (Germany), Bonneville (France), Eger (Hungary), Lexington (USA), and Changzhou (China), as well as the areas of procurement, logistics, and quality management.

"We are very pleased that Andreas has decided to join Aventics," states Dr. Cletus von Pichler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Aventics. He continues, "With his profound supply chain management experience he will be a great asset to the company and strengthen its leadership."

Andreas Ostermann von Roth has many years of experience in the areas of production, procurement, and logistics. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President Operations at KUKA Roboter GmbH, where he was responsible for the entire supply chain. Before this, he held various management positions at Spectrum Brands, Inc., Varta Gerätebatterie GmbH, Behr Thermot-tronik GmbH & Co., and Audi AG.
