ARC ENERGY JOINS BRITISH VALVE AND ACTUATOR ASSOCIATION

Weld overlay cladding and fabrication specialist Arc Energy Resources has joined the British Valve and Actuator Association (BVAA), which represents the interests of British companies and their products at UK and international levels to promote the growth and profitability of the industry.Explaining the benefits, Arc Energy managing director Alan Robinson says that as a leading supplier of corrosion resistant coatings to the oil & gas, nuclear and marine industries, a significant proportion of contracts for its UK customers are exported to countries around the world.
"BVAA membership will provide invaluable access to industry news, market information and reports, as well as networking opportunities with customers and suppliers." he says, adding that BVAA members, who include manufacturers, distributors and repairers of valves, actuators and related products, will be able to benefit from Arc Energy's comprehensive weld overlay cladding and fabrication service to protect their vulnerable components and surfaces from the effects of corrosion, erosion and wear. The service offered covers supply right though to full project management.
BVAA member companies employ more than 9,000 people and generate over
£1 billion sales each year. The association provides a forum for members and represents member companies at UK and EU levels on matters affecting the interests of the British valve and actuator industry.
This new membership adds to the list of bodies that Arc Energy Resources is already involved with, including NOF Energy (Northern Offshore Federation), the Energy Industries Council, The Welding Institute and supplier monitoring organisation FPAL.
