For nearly fifty years, Kaydon bearings, an SKF Group brand, has built an enviable reputation providing dedicated products for aerospace applications. These precision components and assemblies are supplied to virtually all of the leading aerospace manufacturers around the world and R. A. Rodriguez, based in Letchworth, is responsible for this sales activity in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and Turkey.R. A. Rodriguez is therefore delighted to confirm that Kaydon has just received a big compliment from Boeing. The manufacturer has been presented with the 2013 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. It is one of only 124 suppliers to receive this accolade, having maintained a gold composite performance rating for 12 consecutive months to 30th September 2013.
Kaydon has supplied bearings to Boeing for the Apache helicopter programme since it went into production in 1983 from its twin production plants in the USA; both are certified to AS9100C, the international standard for the aerospace industry. In accordance with its AS9120A certification, R.A. Rodriguez has been supporting the UK fleet of Apaches.
