B. Braun optimizes yet another European Manufacturing Site using Werum's PAS-X

PAS-X go-live improves production of liquids in Sempach, Switzerland

Lueneburg, Germany, 30 September 2011 - B. Braun has installed Werum's PAS-X system at one more of its sites, its production facility in Sempach, Switzerland. In Sempach, PAS-X will be used to optimize the manufacturing of liquids, and will also operate in explosion-proof areas. The success of earlier PAS-X installations at B. Braun's Berlin site, and at two of its plants in Melsungen, substantially influenced the company's decision to opt once again for Werum's PAS-X suite.

Werum's PAS-X manufacturing execution system (MES) will replace a legacy weighing and dispensing system and will provide additional functions for recipe management and execution, as well as for generating electronic manufacturing reports. Apart from supporting -€žRight First Time" manufacturing, PAS-X will make a further contribution towards optimizing the efficiency, quality and compliance of B. Braun's production processes.
