Milestone Celebrated at All Owners Meeting with Leadership and Team Recognitions
CIRCOR International, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of differentiated technology products and sub-systems, proudly announces that its Weihai facility has achieved the coveted COS (CIRCOR Operating System) Gold certification. This significant milestone was celebrated during the recent All Owners Meeting, attended by Tony Najjar, President and CEO, and Daniel Stirpe, SVP/GM Industrial Pumps EMEA & APAC.
The certification ceremony, held as part of the All Owners Meeting, featured a series of events to mark this accomplishment. The agenda included the official announcement of the Gold certification by Michael Loos, Senior Director of Quality & CI, via online participation, followed by the unveiling of the Gold Certificate by Tony Najjar, Daniel Stirpe, and Weihai Leaders Brian Chen and Wang Jing. The journey to achieving this certification was shared by Jing, highlighting the dedication and hard work involved. The event concluded with all four presenting gifts to the employees and offering their congratulations.
Achieving COS Gold certification signifies that the Weihai facility has met and sustained high performance standards across eight critical metrics: safety, on-time delivery, quality, cost of poor quality (COPQ), inventory, productivity, talent development, and market feedback analysis. This recognition is a testament to the facility's commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Weihai's journey to Gold certification began with achieving COS Silver status in 2021, just a year after the facility's official opening. This rapid progression to Gold in May 2024 underscores the facility's robust operational processes and the unwavering support from the leadership team.

It involves a rigorous, phased approach where facilities progress through Bronze and Silver certifications before achieving Gold.
