CLEAN ROOM BALL TRANSFERS ENHANCE PRODUCT PROGRAMME
10/01/2014 RAR UK Automation (R.A. Rodriguez)
R. A. Rodriguez continues to add strength and depth in each of its four product divisions through strategic alliances with manufacturers of quality products throughout the world. The company's latest move enhances its Engineering Components Division and, in particular, its products and services aimed at the product transfer and materials handling market. This Letchworth-based company has confirmed that it is working with the Japanese manufacturer, ISB-Iguchi Kico Co. Ltd., to introduce high quality ball transfers to the UK. Generally ball transfers allow loads, both light and heavy, to be moved smoothly and freely in any direction. They are also used to load machines or as part of a linear motion system, application fields in which R. A. Rodriguez has considerable experience.
The ISC ball transfers for clean room operation will be the first available in the UK. Made from advanced composites, including Vespel and Peek, these products are extensively used in flat panel and photovoltaic production lines and in the manufacture of semiconductors and pharmaceuticals. Custom ball transfers are also available.
"Our ISC ball transfers have been continuously developed to help manufacturers improve productivity and, with the help of R. A. Rodriguez, we are looking forward to offering this advantage to UK industry," explained Hajime Komatsu, ISB Global Sales Manager. "ISB is recognised as a 'quality first' company, a value that we share with R. A. Rodriguez, both in terms of product design and applications support."
