However spending valuable time away from the factory searching numerous European exhibitions for the latest engineering solution might no longer be necessary following the return of SMC's Innovation Vehicle to the roads.Designed to bring the latest developments in component technology directly to your door, SMC - the worldwide leading experts in pneumatics - have completely refurbished their custom-built exhibition vehicle with completely new dynamic and static displays using many of their latest, innovative, products. All of the vehicle's dynamic displays have been designed to demonstrate possible factory automation applications in miniature, thereby showing SMC's new products in working situations that could be used or found in many European machines and manufacturing processes.
For the Innovations Vehicle's 2011 tour, SMC has adopted the slogan, "unlock the door to a world of opportunities", and with a focus on production efficiency and reducing operational manufacturing costs the vehicle will also showcase an extensive selection of SMC's energy saving products.
The Innovation Vehicle will be touring the UK for three weeks this summer, returning for another three weeks in the autumn.
