In harsh environments, energy has to be distributed safely even under difficult ambient conditions. This is where the QPD installation system from Phoenix Contact comes into its own as a robust solution for power distribution. Installation is quick, easy, and flexible. This represents on-site time savings of up to 80%.Thanks to the convenient IDC insulation displacement connection, cables of up to 5 x 6.0 mm² can be connected without special tools. Voltages of up to 690 V and currents of up to 40 A can be transmitted with ease. Thanks to the high degree of protection (IP68/IP69K), the installation system also guarantees a safe and robust connection in harsh environments.
The QPD installation system product range includes connectors and cable connectors, H- and T-distributors, and panel feed-throughs. This means that users can implement their own individual installation right through to the point of use.
