Connect with Bruel & Kjaer UK at EIS spring show

Sound and vibration expert exhibiting new BK Connect™ software at EIS Instrumentation 2018

Visitors to the Engineering Integrity Society's (EIS) annual conference, taking place on 13th March at Silverstone, will get an exclusive look at Brüel & Kjær's new, user-centric sound and vibration analysis software - BK Connect.

Designed around the needs and tasks of engineers - particularly their workflow - BK Connect's platform is suitable for use across many different industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical and many more.

BK Connect fully integrates with Brüel & Kjær's industry-€leading LAN-€XI acquisition hardware. Together they provide a comprehensive set of tools for measurements and data processing, with the flexibility to simplify the work flow. It melds seamlessly into tailored workflows over a wide range of engineering scenarios - from repetitive, standardised testing, to complex troubleshooting investigations.

Visitors to the company's stand can also learn about the LDS V8900 shaker system, the first air-cooled shaker to combine the performance and power traditionally found in water-cooled shakers. It boasts a user-friendly operating system, lower running costs and reduced maintenance requirements. Shakers are used in a range of applications to test equipment and machines for integrity and durability, ensuring the product can withstand the demanding conditions of the real world.

Brüel & Kjær's Sonoscout recorder will also be on display. Sonoscout is an intuitive sound and vibration recorder that enables engineers to analyse their measurements on the go, using an iPad to manage data and listen to recordings. This easy to use tool enables engineers to validate recordings on site, in real-time, removing the risk of recording bad data and the need to repeat expensive testing.

The EIS's 2018 exhibition will be held on Tuesday 13th March at Silverstone in the Silverstone Wing. Find out more about EIS Instrumentation at: www.e-i-s.org.uk
