Continued growth for industrial automation software experts

Specialist in industrial automation software COPA-DATA has expanded its team in order to support the needs of its growing customer base in the UK by appointing Kelly Bateman as Marketing Executive and Sarah Debnam as Sales Administrator.After graduating from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David with First-class honours in Marketing Management, Bateman proceeded to work in a number of marketing roles. Embarking on a six month government funded placement and completing a marketing internship meant that Bateman quickly discovered her passion for strategic and digital marketing.
As the only dedicated marketer at COPA-DATA's UK office, Bateman is responsible for the company's marketing activities across the UK and Ireland.
"Since working at COPA-DATA I've become a bit of a jack of all trades," commented Bateman. "It's a very tight-knit family-run business. Everyone here is happy to lend a hand - or an ear, be it for industry knowledge from the Sales team or about zenon features from Tech support." As well as managing collaboration with external agencies and attending COPA-DATA events, Bateman has represented COPA-DATA at several industry exhibitions and trade shows and will continue to support the team at future exhibits.
In addition, COPA-DATA has also appointed a new Sales Administrator, Sarah Debnam, to support its growing sales team in a customer-facing role. Debnam previously worked in business support role, making her well equipped to assist the thriving team by handling all administration for sales staff at COPA-DATA.
"This year, we are focusing on expanding and strengthening our sales and marketing on this side of the channel, so both appointments were timed with that in mind," explained Martyn Williams, Managing Director of COPA-DATA UK.
