CONTROL TECHNIQUES APPOINT NEW REGIONAL DIRECTOR FOR UK AND IRELAND DRIVE CENTRES

Shaun Prinsloo has been appointed to the key management position of Regional Director, UK and Ireland, managing the Control Techniques Drive Centres in both countries.Shaun has relocated to the UK from South Africa and started in his new role on 1st October, reporting directly to Phil Sewell, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
Born in South Africa, Shaun completed his electrical engineering degree at Durban University before moving into sales of electrical equipment and components. He has some 15 years experience in the drives industry having worked as a Sales Director, a Sales Manager and, most recently, as a Business Development Manager responsible for developing the reseller and end user business.
His experience encompasses the steel, mining, water and HVAC/R industries and includes OEM projects, servo systems and upgrades of drive systems.
Shaun's brief is to significantly grow Control Techniques' market share in the UK and Ireland, developing relationships with OEM companies and end users alike.
