COPA-DATA to present automated substation with zenon and IEC 61850 at CIGRE

COPA-DATA, the industrial automation software specialist, will again exhibit at the CIGRE (Council on Large Electric Systems) Session this year, after a successful debut in 2012. CIGRE will take place at the Palais de Congrès in Paris on August 25-29.In partnership with its French distributor, JS automation, COPA-DATA will exhibit at the Paris event on stand 248. zenon Energy Edition, COPA-DATA's substation automation system, developed specifically for the energy industry, will be at the core of the company's stand. The software is ergonomically designed and focuses on reliability through redundancy and ease of implementation with platform independence.
Visitors to the COPA-DATA booth will get a demonstration of some of the features available with zenon Energy Edition, such as simple command processing, seamless SCADA redundancy, integrated security mechanisms and topology. Mobile applications will also be demonstrated with terminal-server solutions.
