Cost effective cable carrier system from igus - Safely carrying energy and media cables

Micro flizz from energy chain specialist igus UK is a complete cable carrier system that consists of cables, an energy chain and guiding profile to safely guide energy, media and signal cables. It is a compact all-in-one alternative to bus bars, which is cost-effective, light weight and has low noise to reliably carry cables over long travels with the smallest of e-chains.

The special features of the micro flizz lie in the aluminium guide channel. The energy chain has special integrated "wings", which firmly hold the e-chain energy chain in the guide channel, and mechanically separate the upper and lower run with minimal friction, wear and noise. Integrated cable clamping also ensures the secure fixture of cables.

This enclosed and easy-to-install system is resistant to tough environmental conditions and is therefore suited to automated applications such as sliding and folding doors, moveable hand tools and camera/studio equipment. Replacing cable drums in sewerage plants is another area where it can be applied.

The system has an installation height of 275mm and width of 107.6mm and is available in inner widths of 10mm, 18mm and 50mm. It is compatible with energy chains with a radius of 75mm that can withstand maximum loads of 50 kg. In addition, micro flizz can reach travels up to 80m with a maximum speed of 50 m/s.
