Crimp terminals combine easy cable entry with reliable electrical connection

CEE Norm now offers a full range of Haupa PVC insulated crimp terminals with a funnel shaped insulating sleeve that combines with a cleverly designed copper sleeve to provide easy entry. The system enables quick wire insertions with no strand turn-back and a strong mechanical retention. A cable stop prevents wire being inserted too far. The sleeves are made of the highest purity copper for excellent electrical conductivity, while internal serration ensures the best possible electrical contact.

During manufacture, the copper terminals undergo a heat treatment process, with carefully controlled temperature and forced ventilation. The result is optimum malleability of materials during the crimping operation. In addition, the crimp terminals are electroytically tin plated. This guarantees the maximum adhesion of the tin to the crimp terminal surface, reducing electrical resistance to a minimum and ensuring the best possible resistance to corrosion.

By providing an extremely high quality electrical connection and reliable crimping, the Haupa PVC insulated crimp terminals eliminate the need for welded cable terminations in a wide range of applications, so simplifying operations and increasing productivity.

CEE Norm offers a complete portfolio of crimp terminals to satisfy the broadest range of connection requirements across the widest spread of applications. Standard models are available with insulation in a special self-extinguishing PVC or in Nylon, and in colours according to international standards. The high quality of the insulation materials ensures the mechanical crimping does not in any way degrade the insulation characteristics.
