Danfoss Drives continue to deliver for Affinity Water

Back in 2011, after a lengthy evaluation process, Danfoss Drives were chosen as the framework supplier of Variable Speed Drives to Veolia Water; now Affinity Water. During this time we have been working closely to raise the awareness of the benefits associated with variable speed & low harmonic solutions, with a focus on how these technologies should be integrated into applications; to ensure they are installed and applied correctly to maximise their full potential.

This has been achieved by introducing a programme of technical seminars for Affinity Water, their framework contractors and their MCC suppliers; the early involvement of the local Danfoss projects team and a dedicated Key Account Manager ensures transparency between all the stakeholders.

The results have shown a successful 2 year period, delivering valued solutions on time while meeting other demanding KPI's, Danfoss Drives have recently been awarded a 24 month extension to the current VSD Framework.

Craig Rapson, Key Account Manager for Danfoss Drives, commented "Although using VLT AQUA Drive, the world's first dedicated VSD for the water industry, delivers many benefits to the stakeholders; it is 'teamwork & cooperation' that will ensure we continually exceed expectations while delivering 'the lowest whole life system cost' to the client.
