Diametric designs and manufactures finishing touches for revolutionary speaker system

British manufacturer, Diametric, has designed and produced the product badges for a ground-breaking new audio system that is set to shake up the market.Flare Audio's C Series speakers use various patented technologies to produce high definition audio with unsurpassed vocal clarity that is fully scalable in compact enclosures from live music arenas to personal studios.
The company's physics-based approach to improving sound clarity has caused a stir within the industry, winning the 2013 PLASA Award for Innovation last week. It is also proving a hit with performers such as The Levellers and The Artful Badger, who have used the speakers for performances.
Diametric, which produces badges for the likes of Jaguar, Hasselblad and Triumph, was commissioned to design and manufacture the all-important product badges for the new product.
It's the latest in a series of projects Diametric has carried out for UK audio companies, and the firm now counts Naim Audio, Turbosound and Bowers & Wilkins among its client base.
Because the C Series speakers would be mounted a distance from the audience, clarity of logo on the product badge was vital. To hit the brief, Diametric used a two colour print onto an embossed aluminium badge. The contrast between the high-shine finish of the aluminium and the matt black background meant the Flare logo would be visible, even from far away.
Shaun Kara, who headed up the project at Diametric, said: "The badge also had to tie in to the look and feel of the product, which is why we opted for aluminium as a base material."
Diametric manufactured the badges before supplying to Flare Audio with adhesion instructions as the essential finishing touch to the C Series.
