Distag Opens New Purpose-Built Hose Assembly Facility In Ipswich

Leading European industrial wholesaler and manufacturer, Distag QCS (UK) Ltd, has opened a new purpose-built hydraulic hose assembly plant at its Farthing Road facility in Ipswich. This new facility compliments their established hose production facilities in Barry, Wales and Lisburn, NI.

The unit is principally designed for high volume hose production, for machinery manufacturers across the UK and Ireland. It is equipped with all new state-of-the-art machinery, including a Marken automatic cutting machine, and features the Neotech range of hose swaging equipment, which Distag distributes exclusively in the UK and Ireland.

Director, Stewart Booth, commented 'The increased production capacity is required for the Distag Group nationally - hose assembly and kitting for original equipment manufacturers is a huge growth area for us. The new unit also functions as a working showroom and demonstration unit for the Neotech range of products'.
