Do you own a Chelsea MkI or MkII FastTracka Fluorometer? Take advantage of our FastTracka to FastOcean Upgrade Program
02/10/2012 Chelsea Technologies Group Ltd
For a limited period we are giving owners of the MkI & MkII FastTracka Fast Repetition Rate fluorometers the opportunity to upgrade to the latest FastOcean technology at a significant discount. Existing owners can upgrade their old systems for any combination of FastOcean sensors and accessories (including complete APD profiling systems). The FastTracka Mk I produced by Chelsea from 1997 was superseded by the Mk II in 2006. Both instruments are now out of production and have been superseded by the FastOcean fluorometer, which was released in 2011. "Support for the early instruments will continue for a finite period," said Bruce Kimber, Chelsea's Customer Services Manager.
The new FastOcean incorporates a number of very significant technological advances, which were unavailable during development of the Mk I & Mk II FastTrackas. Uniquely, these features, in combination with a new approach to the analysis of FRR data, make it possible to derive real-time in situ and in vitro estimates of gross primary productivity (GPP). For a limited period, Chelsea is providing the opportunity for existing owners of FastTracka fluorometers to acquire FastOcean technology at a significant discount. As a result, Chelsea is offering a limited time Upgrade Program, whereby existing users can upgrade their old systems for any combination of FastOcean sensors and accessories.
