DURAPIPE UK'S EASYFIT VALVE WINS INTERNATIONAL GOOD DESIGN AWARD

Durapipe UK has scooped a prestigious Good Design award for its innovative Easyfit valve which launched last year.Competing against a record number of entries from around the globe, the award provides international recognition for Durapipe's Easyfit valve, propelling it onto a world-class stage.
The pioneering Easyfit valve impressed judges with its creative design which allows customers to brand or label the valve through specialist software, as well as allowing the valve to be installed in more confined spaces than any other ball valve on the market. This innovative technology means that companies can easily 'own-brand' the valve or alternatively label the valve with the chemical that the pipework is carrying, increasing plant efficiency as pipelines are easily identifiable.
Founded by four leading architects in Chicago in 1950, Good Design awards bestow international recognition upon the world's most prominent designers and manufacturers. Awards are presented to those designs which demonstrate new, visionary and innovative concepts, invention and originality, and for going beyond what is considered ordinary product design.
