Large increase in turnover, staffing and geographical expansion mark the success of a leading industry companyElectro Rent Europe was established end 2005 as a subsidiary of Electro Rent Corporation, the world's largest test equipment rental company. The company is focused on short-term rental, leasing and used equipment sales of general purpose electronic test equipment. Electro Rent Europe started its operations in a small office in Belgium and since then has increased its turnover and number of employees many times over. The company's impressive results have been achieved by establishing strong relationships with the major electronics companies in Europe and through continuous investment in the latest test equipment.
The aim of Electro Rent Europe is always to help technology companies decrease overall costs and increase flexibility in the use of their electronic test equipment. In the current financial climate, customers are looking for alternatives to equipment purchase in order to minimise capital in favour of operational expenditure. Rental and financing services offered by Electro Rent Europe give customers the flexibility to use their operational budgets to gain access to the test equipment they need, when they need it.
Daniel Greenberg, Chairman and CEO of Electro Rent commented, "Our expansion into Europe is one of the foundations of our business strategy. The success that has been achieved in a short time is remarkable and is a testament to the investments made in our customer relationships. Electro Rent has recently been recognised as 'Company of the Year 2012' by Frost & Sullivan and as one of the '100 Fastest Growing Companies' by Fortune magazine. We are committed to growing the company and building shareholder value and our European operation is an important part of this."
David Saeys, General Manager for Electro Rent Europe said, "When we first established Electro Rent Europe in Belgium in 2005 we were a very small group, but with an ambitious expansion plan. Now seven years later we can state clearly that we have achieved these plans. By using the financial strength of our global organisation we have continued to invest in the latest high technology products and in the development of strong customer relationships to expand our installed base.
High Technology Products
Electro Rent Europe invests constantly in the latest high and low end test equipment allowing it to maintain one of the largest stocks of equipment available for rapid, off-the-shelf delivery. Electro Rent works with all of the major test equipment suppliers, including Agilent Technologies, Tektronix, JDSU and EXFO, to ensure that its customers have access to the very latest products.
Earlier this year, in a new development, Electro Rent Europe announced that it would act as a reseller for the Passive Intermodulation products of Communications Components Inc. (CCI). CCI's PIMPro range of precision Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testers provide 40W PIM testing for all of the current and proposed mobile communications standards including LTE, UMTS, GSM900 and GSM 1800
Customer Relations
Electro Rent's values are based on being straightforward with its customers with the aim of creating and fostering long-term relationships. The company does not over-promise or offer equipment that is not available but rather ensures that whatever it commits to, it delivers, to an agreed schedule. The organisation is multicultural and multilingual offering local service to customers all over Europe. As part of a worldwide organisation, Electro Rent Europe can also serve customers with global requirements. The success of this approach is indicated by the continuing growth in orders from existing and new clients.
David Saeys, General Manager for Electro Rent Europe continues: Our aim is always to provide the products and services that meet our customers' needs. In a time of economic uncertainty and challenging technology our customers need to access the latest generation of test equipment in a way that is cost-effective. Our rental, leasing and financing options allow them to do this. The fact that we continue to offer viable solutions to our customers is evidenced by our continuing growth in turnover and staffing.
We have achieved excellent results over the past 7 years but we won't stop there. With our recent announcements of a reseller agreement with CCI and geographic expansion into the MEA we are continuing to look for opportunities for growth by meeting the needs of our customers in Europe and beyond."
