Emerson expert discusses new trends in water and wastewater treatment during MCAA Industry Breakfast at WEFTEC 2011

PITTSBURGH (September 22, 2011) -۠The water and wastewater industries are operating in an increasingly demanding environment with competing priorities and pressures stretching resources to the limit. Douglas Johnson, director of marketing, Emerson Power & Water Solutions, will discuss these challenges at the Measurement, Control & Automation Association (MCAA) Industry Breakfast at WEFTEC 2011 in Los Angeles. The breakfast meeting takes place 7 a.m., Oct. 18.In his presentation, Johnson will bring an automation and instrumentation industry perspective to the discussion of new trends in water and wastewater treatment. Specifically, he will highlight industry drivers, infrastructure and funding obstacles, and how automation and control suppliers can help municipalities address some of their toughest challenges.
