EMERSON WELCOMES NEW UK MANAGER

Emerson Industrial Automation has appointed a new general manager for its UK & Ireland drives and motors operation.Gloria Stucchi joins the company following a period of study at London Business School, ranked as the top business school in Europe by the Financial Times, where she successfully completed a Sloan MSc in Leadership and Strategy. Prior to that, she worked for Dow Chemical Company in marketing and business development positions, and Pirelli as a senior project manager.
Gloria will lead the UK & Ireland sales teams as it seeks to expand its share of the drives and motors market, while also overseeing a strategy to communicate the benefits to businesses of using combined solutions from a single supplier.
"I'm pleased to be joining a globally-recognised, established organisation like Emerson and I'm excited by the opportunities we've identified for growth in the UK and Ireland," she said.
"We have a strong core product range with which we can meet the challenges faced by industry, namely increasing productivity and efficiency, and lowering total energy costs.
