EPLAN to display recent developments at Routeco LIVE
22/09/2016 EPLAN Competence Centre / Rittal Ltd
CAE software expert EPLAN will be exhibiting and delivering presentations at two Routeco LIVE industrial control and automation events. To be held on October 4, 2016 at the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford and on October 6 at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes the conferences are free to attend, but prior registration is essential. The main concepts on display from EPLAN will focus on the newly launch Smart Wiring Application, the Version 2.6 of the software and Thermal Design Integration module.Routeco LIVE will showcase the very latest in industrial control and automation products, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about current trends and hot topics in the industrial sector. The events will feature an exhibition and will have three breakout rooms. Presentations and discussions will run throughout the day covering topics that include Industry 4.0; smart manufacturing, IT/OT convergence, machinery safety, legislation/standards and compliance, cyber security and motion control systems.
EPLAN will be exhibiting the capabilities of EPLAN Electric P8, EPLAN Pro Panel and the recently launched Smart Wiring App - all of which are invaluable tools for panel builders. In addition, technical experts from both EPLAN and their sister company Rittal will be in attendance and will be readily available to offer support and answer any questions relating to the EPLAN packages and Rittal products.
As one of the speakers on the day, EPLAN's Senior Professional Services Consultant, John Boynton will be delivering a presentation that focuses on Thermal Design Integration - new possibilities for the standardised design of energy-efficient control cabinets with climate control systems.
Thermal Design Integration is a concept that brings together digital product data, software-based project planning and newly developed climate control solutions. It promises users in control cabinet engineering powerful and lasting improvements in the areas of design, cooling and trouble-free operation of control cabinets.
Designers can verify their assembly layouts with respect to climate control considerations and interactively make provisions for the best possible climate control solution.
The presentation will also discuss how the virtual 3D design planning in EPLAN Pro Panel has been expanded with targeted special functions. The key goal is to communicate to control cabinet designers the functionality, performance limits and integration possibilities of the individual climate control system variations so that they can develop the most efficient climate control solution as intuitively and as simply as possible.
Finally, EPLAN will also be exhibiting the benefits of the new Smart Wiring App. The software provides visualisation and the necessary wiring information and engineering data for mounting assembly within the control cabinet. The advantage of this app is that the schematic-based wiring - a time-consuming, error-prone process requiring a great deal of know-how - is no longer required.
If you are interested in attending either of the Routeco LIVE events, please register by e-mailing RoutecoLIVE@routeco.com stating which event you'd like to attend.
