The KHK stock gears from R. A. Rodriguez are already known for their high quality but the latest improvements to its ground spiral bevel range take this characteristic to an even higher level. The company's MMSG ground spiral miter gears and MBSG ground spiral bevel gears are now manufactured, as standard, to JIS B 1704 Grade 1. The main advantage of this precision improvement is that it reduces both noise and vibration during high speed rotation.Thanks to its status as the KHK master distributor for Europe, R. A. Rodriguez offers one of most comprehensive ranges of spiral bevel and miter gears in the UK. Popular sizes are available ex-stock, others on very short lead times. Specials are also available and competitively priced.
The MMSG range is one of sixteen types of spiral miter gears that are available in the KHK range. These higher precision, ground spiral cut gears are ideal for transmitting power through 90o at a ratio of 1:1 in high speed and torque applications. For less demanding applications commercial grade, non-ground equivalents are also available.
The KHK spiral bevel series comprises eight ranges including a stainless steel type. The ground spiral MBSG types that are subject to the precision upgrade are strong and have high load ratings. They too are ideal for high speed and torque applications and are available in modules sizes from 1.5 - 5. Options include fully hardened keyways or pilot bores that allow additional customer modification.
