First Friday Editors' Club Gets a major brand refresh
14/04/2016 Cadence Industrial & Technical Communications
Presenters and journalists to the First Friday Editors' Club, where companies with something to launch or say to the media meet monthly, will notice a new brand has emerged. The rebrand was one of Club Chairman Dan Doherty's final projects before he retired.Neil Fullbrook, Managing Director of Cadence Innovation Marketing, the company that now coordinates the First Friday Editors Club on behalf of the editors, said: "Dan initiated a major investment in the Club and would be proud of the outcome of many months of planning, design and implementation. He was committed to the Club and the editors that regularly attend - it's a winning formula that will be around for a long time".
The rebrand, which uses strong colours on a crisp white background, demonstrates clarity and impact, which is what First Friday Editors' Club delivers. It allows companies to speak directly to multiple media outlets and gain essential coverage for product launches, thought leadership or company news.
Aaron Blutstein, editor of Plant & Works Engineering, one of the founding editors of the Club welcomed the investment from Cadence Innovation Marketing: "This is fantastic news. It shows real commitment to the Club."
Tim McManan-Smith editor of The Energyst added "I am sure this new look will help to showcase the modern way in which we all work. It will also give extra confidence to the PR companies that use the Club for their clients".
Andrew Bartlett, Account Director at Six Degrees PR, a regular user of the media briefings added: "The brand is fresh, bold and confident. I am very excited that this shows a renewed interest in the Club, which is a great outlet for us to get our clients in front of multiple editors".
The new branding is reflected in a new website and the Clubs first official attendance at an industry exhibition - visitors to Drives and Controls Exhibition will witness the branding and new approach personally.
