Garlock Sealing Technologies Announces Agreement to Acquire the GORE® ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragm Business

Palmyra, NY, August 1, 2011 - Garlock Sealing Technologies, LLC (GST) announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire the ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragm business from W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (Gore). This acquisition allows GST to expand its footprint in the diaphragm pump market and better serve its customers.Currently located in Elkton, MD, the ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragm manufacturing business will be relocated to GST's facility in Palmyra, NY and will continue to exclusively utilize Gore's high performance PTFE material for the ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragm family of products.
The ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragm has a solid footprint in the industrial pump market and an excellent reputation. Known for their long service life and increased flexibility, ONE-UP® Pump Diaphragms will complement GST's current diaphragm offerings
