Greater skills support for engineering and manufacturing businesses in the West Midlands

-PP Business Improvement joins Semta to tackle skills needs of the region-Semta, the sector skills council for science, engineering and manufacturing, today announced training provider PP Business Improvement as the latest addition to its fast growing network of recognised training providers.
Walsall-based PP Business Improvement will work with Semta to understand the training needs of the 13,770 engineering and manufacturing businesses across the West Midlands, implementing training programmes that tackle these needs and deliver a demonstrable return on training investment.
With Semta research indicating an anticipated need for nearly 10,000 technical recruits in the region by 2016, the new partnership will offer the best service to employers - combining world class training programmes with Semta's unique industry insight and diagnostic tools.
