UVEO treatment system wins Ringier Technology Innovation AwardUV disinfection specialist Hanovia is delighted to announce that it has won the 2015 Ringier Technology Innovation Award (Food and Beverage Industry) at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. The company won the award for its new UVEO (Ultra-Violet Energy Optimised) technology.
"This is the fifth time we have won the award since 2010, which is great recognition of the quality and reliability of our UV technology for the food and beverage industries," commented Wang Tao, Hanovia's China General Manager.
The Ringier Awards, held annually in China since 2005, encourage innovation by acknowledging and rewarding those companies who have made prominent steps to produce innovative products and technologies in the food & beverage industry.
Hanovia's UVEO system stood out from the competition due to its improved hydraulic design which offers significant performance and lifecycle cost improvements, allowing it to handle higher flows with a single UV lamp. The SwimLine UVEO, for leisure applications, has already been launched; while the PureLine UVEO, for industrial applications, is being launched in November.
