HARTING is continuing to develop its Factory of the Future

The HARTING Technology Group is planning to further develop plant 2 in Espelkamp into the Factory of the Future. This involves investments of more than 75 million euros over the next five years to further strengthen Espelkamp as the leading location for production in the HARTING Technology Group.

There are currently similar production areas in various plants at the Espelkamp site. These competencies are to be brought together in the future. This leads to a bundling of existing expert knowledge, higher synergies in the use and maintenance of machines, as well as higher efficiency through short distances and better use of available space.

In addition, HARTING is examining the expansion of its competence centre for electroplating in Biel, where HARTING has been active for more than 40 years.

The resulting free space in plant 1 gives HARTING new opportunities to position itself even more customer-oriented for the future.
