HBK opens registration for Technology Days

Virtual seminar series brings together engineering expertise across structural health monitoring, strain measurement, vibration and shock, reliability prediction and AI.
Test and measurement expert, Hottinger Bru?el & Kjær (HBK) has announced the return of its annual Durability and Reliability Technology Days.
Now in its seventh year, the free virtual series will take place on the 3rd, 10th and 17th November 2026, bringing together HBK experts and industry specialists, for six 90-minute technical seminars, focused on some of the key challenges facing today’s durability and reliability engineers.
This year’s programme spans the engineering lifecycle - from understanding and monitoring the behaviour of physical structures, to analysing vibration and shock, predicting reliability and exploring the growing role of artificial intelligence in engineering workflows.
Across the six sessions, attendees will learn practical guidance and technical insights covering:
Structural, vibration and acoustic health monitoring, including applications for naval vessels and other critical structures
Smart sensing technologies for structural health monitoring
Strain gauge rosette measurement and analysis
Digital signal processing for equivalent vibration and shock
Reliability prediction standards,methodologies and their application
Artificial intelligence and intelligent assistants for engineering workflows
The programme has been designed for engineers and technical leaders, working across industries including aerospace and defence, automotive and mobility, energy and infrastructure, and automation and robotics. Sessions will combine engineering theory, practical methodologies and real-world applications
Each Technology Day features two 90-minute sessions, allowing attendees to select the topics most relevant to their work or join the complete six-part programme.
